California Frequency Index Data Card

The data cards are organized by city and county name. Each card holds the agency, description, frequencies, and call sign if available. The data are held in four simultaneously scrolling fields. The compact size of the data card allows it to be used on all models of Macintosh, even the 9" MacClassic screen. In order to deal with data that are wider than the columns itself, the Listing field (under the Name field) displays the complete listing under the cursor. Data fields are locked for you protection, but can easily be unlocked and edited by clicking the lock icon in the lower right corner of the card. From any data card you can initiate a Find or List operation. Find takes you to the next occurance of the find string in the database. List provides a complete listing of all occurances of the string in the database. You can print each data card or save it as a tab-delimited text file. Each data card can be annotated with your own personal notes by clicking the asterisk next to the card number.
